China's peak parcel shipping season hasn't arrived yet, but the sector has already hit the 100 billion parcel mark a month earlier than last year.
According to the real-time monitoring data platform of China's State Postal Administration, the 100 billionth parcel was sent at 7:39 a.m. on November 1, from a warehouse in Qingdao, Shandong province. A customer in Qingdao, received his parcel around noon.

According to China Daily, China's parcel delivery sector continues to grow rapidly this year. Since March, the number of parcels processed each month has reached a record 10 billion. In 2013, the annual figure was less than 9.2 billion.

According to a representative of the China Postal Administration, the industry also continues to improve the layout of overseas centers and warehouses in several countries and regions, contributing to the further expansion of the service network.
